Read 1 Timothy 6:17 and Philippians 2:3

Q3: Paul refers to Christ followers as “rich” and warns them about being arrogant in their positions as believers. In what way do you think Christians can make the mistake of being arrogant about their blessing in life?

Read Matthew 6:19-21

Q4: Why do you think it is a challenge for many believers to concentrate on living for heaven’s treasure instead of earths? What does this challenge reveal about the condition of our heart?

Read James 2:18 and 1 Timothy 6:18

Q5: What do you think the relationship is between our faith (realizing we are blessed) and our actions or deeds? How do you think things would change if our faith continued to grow?

Read 1 Timothy 6:18-19

Q6: In verse 19, Paul instructs Timothy to “take ahold of that which is truly life”. In what ways can we live differently as we consider how truly blessed we are? How do you think we can do this together as a church? How can you do this in your home, community, or workplace?
