1 Samuel 16:7 – “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Acts 13:22 – “… He raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.”

1 Samuel 20:7 – “And Jonathan had David reaffirm his oath out of love for him, because he loved him as he loved himself.”

The definition of legacy in the truest sense of the word is something that is transferred.  

Romans 14:7 – “For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself.”

1 Chronicles 28:8-9 – “Now therefore in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of the Lord your God, that you may possess this good land and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you forever. And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – “You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

Matthew 22:37-39 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
